Mid-West Dogs for Law Enforcement K9 Workshop

The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a K9 Detection and Patrol workshop. This is a Dog for Law Enforcement sponsored event. Narcotics and Patrol Certifications through Dogs for Law Enforcement (DLE) will be offered during this seminar. Master Trainers with DLE will be present to make this certification run smoothly and time efficient.
This workshop will consist of hands (and Paws) on training. Training will consist of scenario based, training, narcotic concealment and troubleshooting, parcel sniffs, odor proofing, building searches, area searches, tracking and much more still being planned. The experienced trainers on hand will be able to help you trouble shoot any problems you are having with training or on the road.
When is the Workshop? May 6th thru May 11th. The seminar will begin on Monday May 7th, at 9:00AM and will be held through noon on Friday, May 11th.
Where is the Workshop? Classroom instruction will be held at the New Hampton Fire Department, 403 South Linn Ave New Hampton, IA 50659. This Workshop and training will be held at various locations in the Chickasaw County area.
