David Ferland

Dr. David “Lou” Ferland is the current Executive Director of the United States Police Canine Association. He is also a retired Police Chief after serving 30 years as a police officer with 15 of them as a K-9 Handler. He is also a founding member of the Working Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization, which raises money for new dog teams and funds the training at the NH Police K-9 Academy. He was also the head trainer of the NH Police K-9 Academy for 10 years.
